Retouching a property's photos with AI

Are your properties saved in My listings? Retouch their photos with AI photo retouching in one click: all the property's photos are imported for you, with nothing to download or reimport.

Written by Sophie Delpech

In brief

  • On a property's page, click Retouch my photos: a retouching project is created with all the property's photos.

  • You can also link a property to an empty project with Select a property.

  • Each property has a single retouching project. You will find it on the property's page and in AI photo retouching.

  • New photos of the property are added to the project when you save the page.

Before you start

  • Photo retouching from a property is available with the Premium and Elite plans.

  • Your property must have at least one photo.

  • To add a property to your catalog, see the article Using My listings to manage your properties.

Method 1: from the property's page

Step 1: Open the property's page

Click My listings in the left menu, then the property of your choice.

Step 2: Click Retouch my photos

Click Retouch my photos, at the top of the page or in the AI photo retouching section.

  • First time: Danim creates a retouching project named after the property and imports all its photos into it. The room type of each photo is detected automatically.

  • The project already exists: it opens directly.

Step 3: Retouch your photos

You arrive in the retouching area, with the property's photos. Retouch them as in any other project: decorate, change floors or walls, turn into a video, and so on.

Step 4: Find your retouched photos

On the property's page, the AI photo retouching section shows your retouched photos. Click View my photo retouching project to reopen the project.

Method 2: from an empty retouching project

  1. In AI photo retouching, open a project that does not contain any photos yet.

  2. Click Select a property.

  3. Choose the property from the list, then click Import photos.

The property's photos are imported and the project is linked to the property.

The list only shows properties that do not have a retouching project yet.

How photos stay in sync

  • You add photos to the property: they are added to its retouching project when you save the page.

  • You add a photo in the project: it is also added to the property's photos, up to a limit of 40 photos.

  • You remove a photo from the property: it stays in the project.

  • Your retouched photos stay in the retouching project; they are displayed on the property's page, without replacing its original photos.

If the import was interrupted, for example because you left the page, click Retrieve N photos from the property in the editor bar: only the missing photos are imported.

FAQ

1. Why is the Retouch my photos button grayed out?

Your property does not have any photos yet. Add some from its page.

2. Can I create several retouching projects for the same property?

No, each property has a single retouching project, which the Retouch my photos button opens every time. But this project is not limited: add all the photos you need and make as many retouches as necessary on each of them. You will find all your versions in the project.

3. I added photos to my property, but they are not in my project. Save the property's page: the new photos are then added to the project. If some are still missing, click Retrieve N photos from the property in the project.

4. I can't find my property in Select a property.

The list only shows properties that do not have a retouching project yet. If your property already has one, open it directly from its page with Retouch my photos. If your property does not appear at all, check that it has been added to My listings.

Note: a property without photos cannot be imported. First add at least one photo from its page.

5. Why doesn't Select a property appear in my project?

This button is only offered in a project that is still empty and not linked to any property. If your project already contains photos, create a new project to import a property into it, or start directly from the property's page with Retouch my photos.

6. If I delete the property, do I lose my retouches?

No. The retouching project is kept in AI photo retouching.

7. What if I delete the retouching project?

The project and its retouches are deleted. You can create a new one from the property's page with Retouch my photos.

8. The room type detected is wrong.

Change it in the retouching area, on the photo concerned.

Best practices 🎓

  • Add all the property's photos to its page before clicking Retouch my photos: they will be imported in one go.

  • Retouch your photos before creating a video of the property: your visuals will be more attractive.

  • Check the room type detected before starting a retouch: it guides the result.
