Turn a listing into a video (or an image)

Automatically generate a listing video or visual from your property's text and photos, in a few simple steps.

Written by Sophie Delpech

In brief

Danim's Create with AI assistant lets you turn a real estate listing into a video or an image ready to share.

You can:

  • Import the content of the listing:

    • either by choosing a property from your My listings catalog: the text and photos are picked up automatically

    • or by pasting the listing URL (From a URL mode): the AI then automatically extracts the text and visuals

    • or by copying and pasting the text and photos (Manual import mode)

  • Choose the project type, video or image, then a template: your project starts immediately, in all the formats offered by the template.

Before you start 📝

  • The experience is more comfortable on a computer, with a stable Internet connection and an up-to-date browser (Google Chrome recommended)

  • For best results, favor My listings or the link to a listing published on a leading real estate website (SeLoger, Leboncoin, Bien'ici, and so on): the property information is retrieved faster and more reliably.

Turning a listing into a video or an image

Step 1: Open the Create with AI assistant

You can open the assistant in two ways.

From the home page: log in to Danim and click the Start from a listing card, at the top of the page.

From My listings: open the page of the property of your choice and click New project. The assistant opens with this property already selected: check the content picked up, click Next, then go straight to Step 4 of this article.

Step 2: Choose how to import the content

Under Import your data, you have 3 options:

  • My listings (Step 3.a): you choose a property from your catalog, and its text and photos are picked up automatically

  • From a URL (Step 3.b): you copy and paste the link to a listing

  • Manual import (Step 3.c): you create your video from a text (which you can copy and paste) and your images (computer or phone)

Tip: for best results, favor My listings or a link from a leading real estate website such as SeLoger, Leboncoin or Bien'ici. On these websites, the property information is retrieved almost instantly and reliably.

Step 3.a: My listings

Select the My listings option. The list of your properties appears, with their photo, price and status.

Click the property of your choice, then Confirm this listing. The text and photos of the property page are picked up automatically, with no need to type them again. To choose another property, click Change.

To be selectable, a property must have at least 3 photos. If your property has more than 20, only the first 20 are used.

You do not have any properties in your catalog yet? Find out how to add them in the article ➡️ Using My listings to manage your properties.

Then click Next, and go to Step 4 of this article.

Step 3.b: From a URL

Make sure this option is selected.

In the Listing URL field, paste the link to a listing from a real estate website, then click Extract.

Once the information has been extracted automatically, you can still check the data filled in the Listing text field as well as the photos.

We strongly recommend doing this check so you can edit or delete anything that is not relevant.

Then click Next, and go to Step 4 of this article.

Step 3.c: Manual import

Make sure this option is selected.

In the Listing text field, enter all the information available about the property. You can simply copy and paste a text already written on another platform, such as Leboncoin, for example.

In the Photos field, add up to 20 images of your property. Keep in mind that your photos must be of good quality, otherwise the final video will also be of lower quality.

If you need to retouch your photos beforehand, you can use our "AI photo retouching" tool.

Then click Next, and go to Step 4 of this article.

Step 4: Choose the project type and the template

In the Templates step, first choose the Project type: Video (selected by default) or Image. The templates offered change depending on your choice.

Under Choose a template, Danim's AI analyzes all the information provided and automatically suggests the most suitable templates.

Click the template of your choice: your project starts immediately, in all the formats offered by this template. You do not have any format to choose.

To go back to the content of your listing, click Previous.

Step 5: Find and share your project

Once you have chosen the template, you arrive in the editor, directly at the Sharing step. The generation of your project is already in progress.

As soon as your project is ready, you can:

  • schedule it to be posted on your social media using the Create & schedule posts button

  • click Download to save the project to your computer or phone: choose the format you want, or Download all to get them all

  • click Copy share link (videos only): Danim then generates a link that you can send directly to a client (by using "Paste" or Ctrl + V), for example on WhatsApp

Want to adjust the result (colors, logo, music, adding or deleting slides)? Go back to the 1. Editing step to adjust the text, photos, colors or logo, and to the 2. Finalization step for the music, or click Edit to make your changes, then restart the generation from the Sharing step.

Your project is also available in your My projects library, accessible from the left side menu.

FAQ

1. Can I choose the format of my project?

Your project is generated in all the formats offered by the chosen template (for example square, landscape, portrait and reduced portrait). When you download or post, simply choose the one you want.

2. Can I edit my project after it has been generated?

Yes. Your project opens in the editor: go back to the 1. Editing step to adjust the text, photos, colors or logo, and to the 2. Finalization step for the music, then restart the generation from the Sharing step.

3. Which links does Danim accept?

Danim can analyze most public real estate listing links, for example:

  • listings published on real estate listing portals

  • listings on your agency's website or your network's website

For the URL to be compatible, check that:

  • the listing is public and online (not a draft, not an internal page)

  • the page does not require logging in (username / password)

  • the link points to a single listing, with text and photos

For best results, favor links from major real estate websites (SeLoger, Leboncoin, Bien'ici, Logic-Immo, and so on): importing is almost instant and the property information is more reliable.

If the URL cannot be analyzed (error message, protected page, 404, and so on), use the Manual import option instead, by copying the listing text and adding your photos.

4. I am on the Essential plan, can I use the assistant?

You can open the assistant, import your content and preview the result in a template. Generating the project is available from the Premium plan, as is importing from My listings.

5. How many photos can I add?

Up to 20 photos. Beyond 12 selected photos, the video is longer and some photos may not appear if the template reaches its maximum number of slides. If a photo has the Low-resolution photo badge, remove it: it may look blurry in the final project.

6. Why can't I select one of my properties?

A property must have at least 3 photos to be used. Add photos to the property page, then go back to the assistant. To find out more, see the article Using My listings to manage your properties.

7. Which image formats are accepted?

Images: JPG / JPEG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF, SVG, HEIC / HEIF and TIFF. Videos: MP4, MOV and WEBM.

8. What does the "Unchanged media" message mean?

Some templates contain a placeholder for media of your own, for example a video of you. The assistant does not fill it in. Click Go to slide to go straight to the media to replace.

Best practices 🎓

  • Favor My listings or a leading real estate website (SeLoger, Leboncoin, Bien'ici, and so on): the property information is more complete and more reliable, for a better result

  • Clean up the listing text before starting the generation: remove internal notes, file numbers or anything that is not useful to the general public

  • Pay attention to the order of your photos: start with the most striking visuals (front of the property, living area, outdoor space), then the other rooms. The order of the photos affects how your final video or visual is perceived

  • Try several templates: if the first result does not convince you, generate again from another listing template (carousel, overview, list, and so on) to find the style best suited to your property

  • Choose the right format when you post: all the template's formats are generated, so you immediately have the right version for your Facebook, Instagram (feed, story, reels) and LinkedIn posts or your emails.
